Transportation Service

The deadline to register for the 2018 Vogue Optical PEI 55+ Winter Games is fast approaching. All participants must register by February 15th.

The event is being hosted by the Town of Stratford from February 26th to March 3rd, 2018.

The PEI 55+ Games Society is piloting a transportation service during the Games. The service will run from Eastern Kings to Stratford and West Prince to Stratford on Thursday and Friday of the event. There is limited seating and will operate on a first come first served basis. Anyone interested in using the service should contact the 55+ Games office for details on pick-up times and locations. E-mail vvuillemot @ or call 902-368-6570.

This pilot service is supported through a grant from the Rotary Club of Charlottetown.

“We’re really hoping to target those seniors who want to participate in our event but haven’t in the past because they couldn’t get there,” says PEI 55+ Games Society president Dhuey Pratt.

Events this winter include: men’s & women’s hockey, curling, stick curling, darts, crokinole, auction 45, duplicate & contract bridge, bowling, cribbage, 8 ball pool, scrabble, pickleball, and snowshoeing. A celebration luncheon will also be held on Friday, March 1 at 1pm.
